We're on the search for an experienced and motivated Administration Manager to join our team at Pacific Private Hospital. Pacific Private Hospital is a busy elective surgery facility with seven operating theatres. Located centrally in Southport and close to public transport. 

About the role:

A wonderful opportunity is currently available for an experienced Front Office/ Administration Manager to lead our dynamic Administrative team. 

This role will see you working with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs.Imperative to your success in this role will be delivering exceptional administrative outcomes. You will oversee hospital administration function in areas such as Front Reception, Pre-admissions, bookings, billings, preparation of estimates, and debtor's collection.

The days/hours are flexible and we are looking to offer Permanent Full Time to the right candidate. 

This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administration leader who would like to grow with additional responsibilities, who will bring a positive and supportive influence to manage a team of nine administration staff members.

About you:

You have a genuine passion for providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. 

  • Previous experience in a short-stay, day surgery or hospital environment essential 
  • Experience working with Patient Administration Software (preferably SimDay/ FYDO or similar)
  • Knowledge of health fund contracting system and the Private Health Care System
  • Knowledge of public outsourcing and surgery connect contract requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and leading others
  • Have strong problem solving and conflict management skills 
  • Strong time management, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills with passion for the patient experience
