Stora Enso is looking for a Category Manager, Logistics. Your location
will be in one of our mills in the Czech Republic -Ždírec nad
Doubravou or Planá, or in Austria – Bad st. Leonhard, Brand or Ybbs
and der Donau and you will be working in Wood Products Division. Stora

provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. Our
product range covers all areas of urban construction including massive
wood elements and housing modules, wood components and pellets. We
also offer a variety of sawn timber goods. Our customers are mainly
construction and joinery companies, merchandisers and
retailers.Purpose of the job:Formulating and executing strategies for
all services and products and in the respective categories in the area
of responsibility for all countries in scope.Delivering lower cost for
the required quality and service.Based on the strategies, yearly
procurement plans need to be established and accomplished with the
available internal resources to make best use of the existing supplier
agreements.Development of the existing and future supplier base, which
includes pre-qualifications in line with our requirements and
continuous improvement efforts in close cooperation with selected key
suppliers.As a Category Manager, Logistics, you will be responsible
for:Developing and executing category strategies with focus to deliver
lower cost for needed quality and service.Building and executing
yearly procurement plans for category that makes best use of available
purchasing resources.Developing and adjusting the supplier base in the
category select and prequalify suppliers in category and especially
from Sustainability point of view.Running supplier development for
contracted suppliers with focus to make best use of existing
agreements and drive continuous improvement.Being Supplier Account
Manager (SAM) for assigned suppliers.Scouting the market for new
innovations & technologies within the Category and introducing these
to internal stakeholders.Utilizing the supplier know-how and
capabilities with new business models to support the WP
strategy.Ensuring safe working methods/tools through supplier
collaboration and implementation of safety features with the supplier
baseContributing to sustainability targets through category strategy
and sourcing selections.Participating in Buy vs. Lease decisions
and/or make or buy decisions.Efficiency in e-sourcing tools (e-tender,
e-auction, purchasing catalogues etc.) to ensure efficiency,
compliance and track-record of sourcing activities.Requirements for
applicants:University degree in a relevant area5+ years working
experience in international procurement with relevant e-tool
experienceSolid experience in sourcing e-toolsEnglish – fluentFor
Czech locations – Czech language is a must, German is a big advantage
Good knowledge of MS OfficePreferred is knowledge of SAPDemonstrated
ability to negotiate complex agreements with suppliers in different
countries.Very strong communication skills as well as solid experience
in English language business negotiationsVery good team worker,
experience in multicultural, remote people management and strong
influencing skillsHighly structured and systematic, works proactively
and result oriented as well as willing and able to take initiative.You
