It also assists Member States in the implementation of these standards and provides related services.The Regulatory Infrastructure and Transport Safety Section (RIT) is responsible for providing Member States with safety standards, guidance and tools to foster regulatory infrastructure for radiation safety, for the safe transport of radioactive material and for managing information to identify the needs of Member States with a view to improving radiation, transport and waste safety.The Control of Radiation Sources Unit is responsible for the development of standards for regulatory infrastructure for radiation safety, and for providing for the application of these standards in Member States. It organizes Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS) and Advisory Missions related to regulatory infrastructure in the various fields of radiation safety. It is also responsible for the Code of Conduct on the Safety and Security of Radioactive Sources and the associated import/export guidance. Main PurposeThe consultant will provide software verification and software testing technical expertise to the Regulatory Infrastructure and Transport Safety Section in the Division of Radiation, Transport and Waste Safety in the finalization of the development and acceptation of the new Regulatory Authority Information System (RAIS+).Functions / Key Results ExpectedVerify and propose improvements to the delivered Regulatory Authority Information System (RAIS+) system identified by Member States in the pilot stage of Phase 2;Evaluate the remaining Regulatory Authority Information System (RAIS + )functionalities from Phase 2;Develop a software testing methodology including early and transparent feedback collection from Member States for Phase 3 of the project;Provide technical expertise on the  software requirements related inquiries to the developers;Develop training material for the new RAIS+;Assess the mitigation of the findings from the cyber security analysis in all modules in RAIS+.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAssets -Language Skills   EnglishQualifications and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with administration of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and administration of Microsoft SQL Server including SQL programming and performance tuning. Established experience with IT infrastructure in general focusing on Microsoft products.Proficient knowledge of Internet Information Services configuration and Web hosting.Experience with RAIS customizations in IAEA Member States.Knowledge of software testing methodologies.Established experience with modern Cyber Security practices.RemunerationThe remuneration for this consultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of 300, based on qualifications and experience. In case duty travel is required within the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) and travel costs are provided.
