It also assists Member States in the implementation of these standards and provides related services. Main PurposeThe main purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical and administrative support to in the planning and organization of activities to support the Division of Radiation, Transport and Waste Safety.Functions / Key Results Expected• Provide technical input in transitioning the terms of RASSC, WASSC, TRANSSC by collecting new nominations, updating committee members lists, liaising with new members for their familiarization with the processes between January and June 2024;• Implement the Denial of Shipment Working Group and subgroups meetings (in-person and virtual) and coordinate the drafting of documents produced by the working group;• Implement the actions for the organisation of SMR, TNPP, FNPP in related meetings;• Collect and consolidate the Member States comments on SSR 6, develop and maintain the resolution table for the Technical Officer;• Organize the consultancy meetings for the development of  the Training Series on Transport Safety, and coordinate the drafting of the document, in support of the Technical Officer.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesRequired -Language   EnglishAssets -Language Skills   EnglishQualifications and ExperienceUniversity degree in Business administration, international relations, or a related field of study.Minimum of 2 years of experience in organising or contributing to the organization larger-scale events (meetings, workshops...).Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.RemunerationThe remuneration for this consultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of 250, based on qualifications and experience. In case duty travel is required within the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) and travel costs are provided.
