Design Engineer - Special Mission Aircraft (f/m/x)

• Design of mechanical components (3D & 2D)
• Design of CFRP, GFRP, metal parts (3D & 2D)
• Design of positive and negative moulds (CFRP/GFRP), including layup plans
• Design of part drawings and assembly drawings etc.
• Preparation & administration of certification documentation and manuals
• Integration studies according to installation limitations (positioning of components, weight calculation, power consumption)
• Support Design of electric system layout, wiring schematics, harness drawings
• Support Equipment Tests on ground and in flight
• Cooperation with other departments within Diamond Aircraft

• Technical school (HTL) in relevant field
• 2 years of work experience (in aeronautics is an advantage)
• Sound knowledge in working with 3D CAD programs (CATIA V5; Solid Edge ST6)/2024
• English and German (spoken and written)
• Structured, reliable team player with ability to work autonomously
• Profound knowledge of MS Office

The minimum collective salary for this position is 3.207,73 gross; there is a readiness for overpayment depending on qualifications and experience. We are easily accessible with public transport and provide on-site parking facilities; our internal Katana Kafe Restaurant offers reductions for our staff.
