Grid Connection Manager - Renewables (m/f/d) in Bucharest

In one of the divers international locations - in this case in Bucharest / Romania the following position is available:

YOUR JOB:
  1. Responsible for all aspects of the Power Grid connection process to the TSO and DSO networks
  2. Secure grid connection agreements (or modifications) aligned with the project strategy;
  3. Comprehensive understanding of the Romanian grid connection process, ANRE orders, national regulations and standards;
  4. Support the rollout and implementation of newly developed grid connection organization, procedures, and processes;
  5. Prepare, deliver and follow up the grid connection documentation to TSO/DSO;
  6. Work closely with the project management team to advise on grid connections, from standards and best practice;
  7. Conduct site visits before and during construction to monitor construction progress, identify risks, and meet contractors
YOUR COMPETENCES:
  1. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable studies.
  2. Proficiency level of English and Romanian, German language is a plus.
  3. Experience with protection relay settings and commissioning in DSOs & TSO substations.
  4. Experience in technical or project management for grid connection assets such as new substations, substation extensions, grid connections of renewable energy projects.
  5. Knowledge of the connection procedures to the national HV/MV grid with national TSO / DSO grid operators;
  6. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  7. Align individual and team objectives to company objectives.
  8. Willingness to travel, learn and work within standardized processes/procedures and continued drive for process improvements.
