After ensuring all phases of hardware system development are met, promoting and supporting the development of innovative production test solutions is key to building a successful career at our high-performance CSS department. What You Will DoHardware board design - all phases of hardware system development from concept to production, including drawing schematics, component selection, lay-outing, and board bring-upManage parts and designlibraryGenerate technical drawings and bills of materialDevelopment and maintenance of intelligent (SMART) software-based test solutionsDesign of production test equipment for existing module test solutionContribute to the development of standard practices, guidelines and utilities to reduce design cycle time and improve PCB design efficienciesDrive and support the development of innovative production test solutions and product demonstrator solutions for Connected Secure Systems Work closely with other team members (Software, Production etc.) to support ongoing design tasks and projectsKeep-up with current industrystandards and technologiesMicro-controller-based coding / verification skills according SmartCard standards (e.g. ISO7816, ISO14443 etc.)Your profile

Who You AreA Technical Hero with:A Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or similarExperience within the field of semiconductors and / or interest in NFC technologies as well as security applications (preferably Test and / or Product Engineering of smart card devices)Solid knowledge of board design and PCB layout tools, especially using Altium Designer PCB layout toolsKnow-how in RF measurement techniquesFamiliarity with electromagnetic simulation of RFID/UWB Systems, PCBs, passive components, and RFID/UWBantennas using EM simulation tools (e.g. ADS Keysight or Ansys HFSS)Ability to interpret, analyze and develop code written in C, JavaScript, LabView and PythonHands-on mentality with respect to laboratory measurementsAbility to communicate with internal and external partnersSelf-organized and structured working style with a logical and problem-solving mindsetFluent English skills.
