Careerlevel: M16/C42In this role you will lead and manage a global
team of Food Technologists to develop and nurture a best-in-class
application team. Delivering outstanding integrated solutions for
clients and a regionalized winning portfolio. This role is part of M,
F&C leadership team and reports to Head of Business M, F& Cheese
Alternatives. Your key responsibilitiesLead, develop and coach a
global team of applications technologistsDevelop (new) integrated
applications, both for existing and new products, in line with
customer requirements as defined by business (line)management,
maximizing the usage of dsm-firmenich technologies, provided it does
not compromise on cost in use, taste, market trends and regulatory
complianceSupport business management/marketing in promoting new and
existing products and applications with new and existing clients, by
providing technical knowledge and analysis.Support/steer innovation
product development and other application development, by providing
product and application specific knowledge and know-how.Understand the
protein product portfolio and positioning of different proteins in
relation to each other, competitor products and substitutes to support
the sales process.Develop deep understanding of all dsm-firmenich
technologies, including Flavors, Proteins, Campus, Nutrition and ISOL
portfolios.Design new, combined global concepts using all
dsm-firmenich technologies, based on market needs and requirements
from segments & regions.Localizing the global concepts leveraging the
resources present in the markets.Ensure full technology/ingredient
availability in regions in line with local requirements and
laws.Support regional teams with relevant technical understanding of
usage and benefits.Build deep understanding of all dsm-firmenich
technologies and how the best interact with each other. Be the pool of
knowledge for full recipe design internally and for our
clients.Support clients, from full recipe development/co-creation,
Nutri-Score all the way up to scale up, trial production etc.Conduct
product benchmarking by comparing products from the markets with
products developed with dsm-firmenich technologies.Co-develop regional
promotions, own recipes and ensure all dsm-firmenich technologies are
used in proper way (if applicable). We bringA rich history and a

create a better future;You bringMSc. in Food Science or equivalent +
10 years of experience in the Food industry with strong technical
skillset & strong background in flavors for Savory & Meat Alternative
application Experience in Meat Analogue full recipe developmentProven
Leadership abilities and demonstrated experience in managing a
team.Able to manage & support a global team and adapt to regional
market desires.Open minded; flexible, resilient and organizedExcellent
interpersonal and communication skills, including sound influencing
skills, and at ease working cross-functionally.Customer Service
mindset; Senior level with technical credibility and gravitas facing
customersPeople EngagementOpenness towards different parts of
