The position holder leads the overall strategy – planning, optimization, and execution of all Site Linz related Supply Chain Management processes, including running the Warehouse Team and close teamwork (dotted line supervision) with Procurement. This must be done in alignment with the API Business Strategy to achieve business and financial targets and with special regards to safety, health, environment, cost efficiency and as well as quality, safety and meeting timelines. A day in the Life:Accountable for strategic and operational responsibility with focus on the Sales & Operations Planning processes and measurement of performance through related Key Performance Indicators as well as the development of scenario plans and asset strategies.Responsible for implementing the supply chain process resulting in agreed sales, supply and inventory plans which meet short term and strategic goals of the business.Accountable for resolving supply plan as input for scenarios as well as developing scenarios. Accountable for the communication of the outcome of the agreed plan to all involved in implementing the plan.Accountable for monitoring the supply chain process and performance analysis based on defined important metric and stock targets.Ensure accurate supply chain planning and secure availability of raw materials for production. Decide production plan changes in line with business demands.Management of Internal Warehouse.Guarantee On-Time-Delivery-In-Full as aligned with Business Management and Site OperationsOptimize inventory planning/working capital and stock level.Ensure Management of lead logistics provider (LLP) and other services through continuous service monitoring, performance evaluation and cost control (inbound, outbound, customs and external storage).Close liaison with global procurement function.Leading and developing the SCM TeamKeys to Success:EducationUniversity degree in Supply Chain Management and LogisticsExperienceApprox. 10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management and Logistics leadership role or equivalent through adjacent rolesTechnical background in Operations within API business preferredStrong leadership personality with excellent communication skills (change management experience)Strong lean and change management backgroundHighly people oriented, trustworthiness, self-confidence, convincing, inspiring, change agent, learning agilityKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProcess and project management skillsExcellent analytical skillsExcellent and collaborative stakeholder management intern and externBusiness acumen / financial understandingExcellent communication and negotiation skills to all levels within the organization and external stakeholdersEnglish and German skills (fluent)What we offer:Employment with an innovative, future-oriented organisationOutstanding career and development prospectsCompany pension scheme and other fringe benefitsExciting company culture which stands for integrity, intensity, involvement and innovationThe payment takes place according to the collective agreement of the Austrian Chemical Industry.
