In this role, you will be responsible for the automation and digitalization of the flow of goods and processes along our supply chain and thus ensure the timely and qualitative processing of material supply at the Eggelsberg and Gilgenberg plants.Your responsibilitiesPlanning and implementation of innovative warehouse automation projects Development of logistical solutions: Interface clarification, concept and specification creation through to project planning and acceptance of the systems in coordination with the specialist departmentProject monitoring through to acceptance on siteMonitoring the agreed qualities and deadlines while adhering to the cost budgetEnsuring compliance with safety and quality standards within the automation projectsWorking consistently on continuous process optimization with the aim of constantly improving performance and quality, also taking ergonomic aspects into accountHelping to shape the digitalization and automation roadmap Evaluating the degree of digitization and exploring state of the art technologiesCarrying out weak point analyses & identifying deviations incl. implementing corrective measuresStakeholder management and internal and external communication (e.g. warehouse managers, specialist departments, IT and service providers)Your backgroundHigher technical education (HTL/FH/TU) in the fields of electrical engineering, control engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronicsExperience in project realization in intralogistics / plant engineeringStrong communication skills and very good knowledge of German and EnglishTeam-oriented and structured way of workingSAP knowledge is an advantageAbility to organize and work in a team Independent, precise and self-reliant way of workingFlexibilityInnovative thinking and quality awarenessMore about usAt B&R – a member of the ABB Group, you can expect an exciting and challenging job with an individually tailored introductory training.
