As a Product Manager you are responsible for the success of your products with focus on innovation and life cycle management. You interact with R&D and the commercial teams to ensure product success. Your knowledge enables you to drive innovations and translate user need into new product concept for a successful business.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibility for specific products in the existing portfolioDefine new products, support development and launch them successfully into the marketInterface with R&D, Operations and Industrial Engineering throughout the product lifecycleInterface with global commercial organizations to ensure market successDevelopment of new workflow solutions and product ideas with customers and internal R&D teams, based on market requirements and competitor movesDrive customer focused innovation across a highly multidisciplinary team together with other Leica Microsystems locations in GermanyYOUR PROFILEStrong scientific background (BSc, MSc, PhD in Life Science or Material Science)Hands-On experience in (Cryo-) UltramicrotomyKnowledge of microscopy techniques (light and electron microscopy) including appropriate sample preparation methods (e.g. coatings, HPF, milling, sample transfer, etc.)Experience as a Product Manager is a plusFluently in English and good German language skills are necessaryAt Leica Microsystems we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
