Project Manager – Telecommunications Site Deployments

GenCell Ltd. is a leading player in the fuel cell industry, dedicated to providing cutting-edge Hydrogen2Power and Ammonia2Power solutions with focus on the telecommunications sector and others. As part of our commitment to innovation and sustainability, we are embarking on a significant project involving the deployment of highly critical telecommunication sites in Europepowered by fuel cells. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of this multidisciplinary project.

As the Project Manager for Telecommunications Site Deployments, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the installation of fuel cells across telecommunication sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multidisciplinary projects, with proven experience in overseeing the successful deployment of infrastructure projects in the telecommunications industry.

Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan (ideally MS Project) for the deployment of fuel cells across telecommunications sites.

Coordinate with the customer, a significant telecom industry player, internal teams, subcontractors and foreign vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

• Ensure site readiness status with external entities and ensure permits are in place.
• Coordinate logistics aspects (import equipment, on-ground transport and delivery to sites, including precise time management between suppliers and service providers.
• Identify any potential challenges in the project plan and act to mitigate in a timely manner
• Report and escalate any issues and facilitate the resolution process
• Ensure all documentation is created and handed over to customer
• Ensure site finalization and handover process to customer.
• Support communication of milestones and related payment plans.
• Act flexibly in terms of external and internal project execution delay factors.

• Effectively communicate project objectives, timelines, and progress to stakeholders, including the customer, internal teams and external partners.
• Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders and ensure a collaborative working environment.

• Allocate and manage resources efficiently to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Monitor and control project budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial goals.

• Implement quality control measures to ensure that the fuel cell installations meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve any issues promptly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field;
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on infrastructure deployment;
• Strong background in managing multidisciplinary projects, preferably involving alternative energy solutions such as fuel cells;
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills;
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities;
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the telecommunications and energy sectors.
