Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.Key responsibilities:Lead the Sales strategy in Oncology, shape and develop a KAM team with the ability to grow the existing business and to successfully roll-out upcoming launches closely aligned with cross-functional Brand Team.Accountable for the xf-development and execution of strategic outcome based plans for the territories and Key Accounts.Accountable for achieving the qualitative and quantitative KAM targets in the different territories and for monitoring the expense budgets for the field activities.Effectively drives analysis of performance data, market trends and field insights together with KAM team.Seeks in-depth information from customers to thoroughly understand their needs. Analyses and shares market information and findings with his/her manager and peers and develops effective ways to deliver on customer feedback and to ensure business growth.Supports a strong cross-functional collaboration including: Marketing, Medical, Market Access and internal functions such as: Finance, Strat&Ops and BI&A to ensure relevant KPIs are provided and analysed.Leads and coaches the Key Account Manager team (direct people leadership) and takes ownership to support individual development of the KAM teamIdentify and, together with the Training Manager and other Disease Team members, develop and execute effective trainings for the KAMs.Close collaboration with Strategy Lead and the BUD on targeting & segmentation matters.Together with KAM team maintains a strong network with Thought Leaders, specialists and hospitals.Ensure development of a superior workforce through conscious creation of a good workplace and team culture, a continuous performance management and feedback, employee recognition and coaching, and through adequate and tailored professional trainings and personal developments.Feeds the brand strategy on a regular basis with relevant insights from the field.Brings up innovative ideas in the strategic brand plans to overcome the challenges in the marketplace.Support the BUD in the resource planning on the KAM level to set the right priorities regarding the effectiveness of brand campaigns and launches.Desired Skills and Knowledge:Self-motivated and an independent self-starter with the ability to think strategically, drive performance, foster customer relationships and build alignment positive working relationships through a strong cross-functional collaboration.Good knowledge of the local healthcare system, marketing principles and legislation.Strong communication skills to impact and positively influence people.Good scientific understanding with the ability to simplify complex clinical data to concise and convincing messages.Initiative, creative, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environment.Good organizational skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize.Strong focus on what brings value for customers and patients.Strong identification with BMS company values.Requirements:Certified Pharma Representative (Pharmareferentenprüfung) or any study that replaces the exam.Several years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in customer-facing commercial field roles.Demonstrated leadership skills, ideally in a sales role.Strong preference for knowledge and experience in Oncology.Fluent in German and English; able to lead meetings in both languages.For this position, a collective agreement minimum salary applies from 3.430,00 gross per month.
