With 65+ years of expertise, our ecosystem of interconnected products combined with our complete vehicle expertise uniquely positions us to advance mobility in an expanded transportation landscape.About the RoleFor our Corporate Finance and Controlling team in Vienna or Graz, we are looking for a Senior Controller (m/w/d), who  is responsible for major finance processes within Corporate Europe: Management & Corporate Reporting, Business Planning & Analysis, Capital Expenditures, Tax, Treasury and Audit compliance. In this crucial role, you support the Corporate Global and the Corporate Europe team to manage their costs and the billing to the Groups and the Global headquarter.Your ResponsibilitiesManagement & Finance ReportingPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for Corporate Europe per US GAAP and per local GAAP.Prepare management reporting (budget to actual variance analysis) and presentations; perform regular reviews with Corporate Europe and specific Corporate Global function heads,Ad hoc business case analysis for Corporate Europe and/or Corporate Global function heads for business decisions or billing matters.Business Planning & AnalysisAnnual business plan and forecast preparation with review and presentation to managementWork with regional and global function headsDevelop, implement, and maintain related processes/systems/toolsTax, Treasury, Audit Compliance and OtherWorking with Corporate Tax and Treasury, ensure Corporate Europe meets tax, transfer pricing, and treasury requirementsParticipates in internal and external audits Ensure foreign exchange exposures are managed in collaboration with Magna TreasuryLeading the Corporate Europe Controller teamManage the Corporate Europe Controller team and ensure the team members reach their full potentialWho we are looking forExtensive experience in Controlling including people management experience Accounting experience to include overseeing/managing company financial summaries such as month-end, year-end and operation reviews, year-end auditing process, general accounting, developing business plans, and analysis of balance sheets, income statements and cash flow  Knowledge of international GAAP (IFRS/US-GAAP) to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, data warehouse, and ERP systems, preferably SAP FI/CO.Fluency in both German and English, facilitating effective communication with diverse stakeholders.A team player with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, providing valuable support to the Corporate Accounting, other Finance teams and the function heads.The ability to effectively analyze and interpret numerical data, ensuring accurate financial reporting and informed decision-making.Strong communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written, with experience working in global teams.Your preferred qualifications•    A Master Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Commerce with a strong focus on Finance/Controlling; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWhat we offerAt Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
