Prime Source is urgently looking for a sharp and motivated Technical Project Manager for a long-term project. This position is for exciting projects that offer implementing newer technologies, implementing industry standard processes and an opportunity to grow. The candidate should have strong technical and managerial skills and must be a good team player. Our projects use .Net, SQLServer, Cloud hosting and other cutting-edge technologies in an agile development environment.

This position is hybrid, on-site meetings may be required. DC metro area local candidates only.

Responsibilities:

Develop/maintain project plan and schedule using Microsoft Project (WBS, schedule) for an enterprise system.

Development and adherence to project plans, including an effective communication plan and production implementation plan.

Provide meeting minutes and agendas to various stakeholders frequently and on time Communicating with cross-functional groups across various levels to share information and deliverables.

Manage the planning and execution of the deployments of the technical solution. Work with the Organizational Change Management Lead to monitor the readiness of the user community for the deployment.

Manage up to eight team members.

Follow CMMI processes, ISO guidelines and develop required documentations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, math, business or other related scientific or technical discipline, Education is substitutable by additional work experience.

At least 10 years of technical project management experience with a minimum 15 years of overall IT experience

Extensive experience financial system, and experience with Local/State/Federal Transportation Department is desired.

Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

Coding experience and ability to review code and help drive solutions for web-based applications.

Experience in leading and managing technical teams on complex, mission critical web-based enterprise systems.

Experience with business analysis functions to assist in gathering and documenting requirements.

Experience with cost and time estimation and proposal writing

Experience managing personnel, project budgets and reporting.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with CMMI Level-3 or higher practice implementation

Experience with agile SRCRUM methodology

PMP Certification
