This is an exciting time in our history, and by creating a new and ambitious path, it will provide a unique opportunity for us all, both professionally and personally.In this role you support in technical analysis and finding solutions to problems that arise in the packaging process.Join us as a Founder of our ‘new’ Sandoz!Your key responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Planning, design and optimization of packaging and packaging processes in accordance with GMP requirements• together with suppliers review, optimize and implement packaging materials (suitability and conformity)• Optimization and further development of existing packaging and packaging systems in production to support quality aspects, procurement costs and sustainability aspects• • Contact person, idea provider and solution finder • Harmonization and streamlining of the packaging materials portfolio• Collaboration with line managers from production and engineering regarding the machinability of packaging materials and their optimization• Developing and implementing packaging projects in collaboration with production, internal specialist departments, suppliers and customers• Assessment of packaging material combinationsCommitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Role RequirementsWhat you’ll bring to the role: Essential Requirements: • You have a degree in a specific subject (e.g. packaging technology, packaging technology, process engineering, alternatively mechanical engineering) or a comparable subject such as paper technology, food technology, food technology and logistics with a corresponding additional qualification• In-depth knowledge of all materials, methods and processes used in the packaging sector• High sense of quality and responsibility and ideally knowledge of the GMP environment• You have knowledge and experience in life cycle analysis and also have a structured, analytical and reliable way of working• Grasp complex issues and can present them simply and comprehensibly to different target groups in the company• Fluent English (German is an advantage) as well as MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Desirable requirements: • Ideally, you have several years of experience in the development of packaging, ideally from the pharmaceutical industry• used to working in international teams and keeping an overview of difficult problemsWhy Sandoz? In addition to a market-competitive base salary, we offer an attractive incentive program, a modern company pension scheme, childcare facilities, learning and development options as well as worldwide career opportunities. In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is 60.212,18/year (on a full time basis). In most cases, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
