The Filtration Field Application Specialist is responsible for providing filtration solutions to manufacturing challenges and striving to specify Cytiva technologies into biopharmaceutical drug manufacturer’s early-stage development processes

This position reports to the EMEA Filtration Applications Leader and is part of the Cytiva Sales Organization l ocated in Germany or Austria and will be working remotely to cover Austria, Central Eastern Europe and Africa.

What you will do:

• Engage in technical consultations with customers on downstream filtration processing where you propose Cytiva solutions and support scale-up testing and implementation.
• Coordinate, perform and report-out on bench scale test work at customers to evaluate and/or demonstrate Cytiva technologies for specification in biopharmaceutical processes.
• Work in close relationship with filtration sales specialists, technology specialists and scientists to coordinate activities and continuously improve processes and results.
• Increase sales by working with marketing to track and report progress metrics in drug development pipelines.
• Serve as a technical specialist with in-depth knowledge of Cytiva products and downstream processing and develop expertise by regular exchange of experiences and trainings.

Who you are:

• Master's Degree in Life Science, Chemical or Biological, or Engineering or related field required, PhD preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in biotech industry
• English and German fluency required

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Willing to travel regionally (approximately 50%) with occasional travel outside assigned territory

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Biotech Upstream and Downstream Processing

We offer a salary starting from €70,000 - €80,000 annually, depending on experience.

Was Sie tun:

An unserem Produktionsstandort in Pasching mit ca. 250 Mitarbeitern produzieren wir Zellkulturmedien in flüssiger und pulverisierter Form für die biopharmazeutische Industrie.

Der Project Engineer (d/w/m) ist verantwortlich für die technische Planung und Umsetzung von Kundenprojekten im Bereich Engineering Services. In dieser Rolle tragen Sie maßgeblich zur erfolgreichen Realisierung unserer Anlagenlösungen bei und unterstützen das Team durch Ihre Expertise in Projektmanagement und Technik.

Diese Position berichtet an den zuständigen Teamleiter im Bereich Engineering Services, ist am Standort  Pasching, Österreich   angesiedelt und wird  vor Ort (Onsite)   ausgeübt.

Was Sie tun:

• Fachliche Führung von Projekt Team s und Unterstützung im Tagesgeschäft des Engineering Services Teams hinsichtlich Abarbeitung technischer Anfragen und Aufträgen von Fremdfirmen

• Leitung aller Aspekte eines oder mehrerer Projekte von Initiierung, Eskalation, Entscheidungsbefugnis bis Abschluss unter Einhaltung der internen Projektmanagementstandards sowie behördlichen Vorgaben

• Entwicklung , Präsentation und Implementierung von verständlichen Projektp länen , Aufsetzen einer Projektteamstruktur , Ressourcenzuteilung, sowie Kontrollmechanismen sämtlicher Projekta nforderungen um den Projekterfolg hinsichtlich Kosten, Zeit und Umfang zu gewährleisten  

• Gewährleisten eine r geordneten Projektübergabe in den Routinebetrieb  und Generieren von Projektideen und - konzepten zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung , Erreichen von Einsparungszielen oder Performancesteigerung der Prozesse am Standort   

• Verantwortung für das Thema Behördengenehmigungen sowie Unterstützung bei Förderabwicklungen

Wer Sie sind:

• Abgeschlossene naturwissenschaftliche oder technische Ausbildung (oder gleichwertige Berufserfahrung)

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im technischen Projektmanagement, bevorzugt im pharmazeutischen Umfeld

• Routinierte Anwendung einschlägiger IT- und Projektmanagement Tools (MS Office und Miro)

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit gesetzlichen Vorgaben, Behördenanliegen sowie Förderrichtlinien sowie hohe Problemlösungskompetenz, Belastbarkeit und Eigenständigkeit

• Ausgezeichnete Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
